# Ecosystem

Transfers of asset ownership can be difficult and time-consuming, but they are vital to the success of many businesses. Ownify promises to help companies verify the legitimacy of asset transfers: before creating any new assets, a company must first verify its own identity; users hoping to claim ownership will also have their identities verified.

Ownify assets are decentralized product identities stored on a public distributed ledger. The Ownify Ecosystem can consist of dapps providing warranties, insurance and other services to end users
